Where can you buy BBL 2026-27 tickets?
The safest booking route is the official Big Bash matches page. Filter the list to men’s matches, find the required fixture and select Buy Tickets.
The link will open the authorised ticket agent for that venue:
- Ticketek handles many BBL venues.
- Ticketmaster handles other venues, including selected Perth and Tasmanian fixtures.
- The assigned agent depends on the venue, not simply the team playing.
Check the competition name before paying. A listing marked KFC BBL|16 is a men’s Big Bash match, while Weber WBBL|12 refers to the women’s competition.

How much do BBL|16 tickets cost?
There is no single ticket price for every BBL|16 match. The home club sets prices for its regular-season games, and the final amount depends on the venue, opponent and seating category.
General admission is usually the lowest available category. Reserved seating and premium sections may cost more, while high-demand matches can have different pricing from other fixtures.
The exact price is shown after you select a match and ticket category. Ticketek or Ticketmaster may also add a transaction fee. Cricket Australia states that one transaction fee applies to the order, whether the booking contains one ticket or several tickets.
How much do Australian BBL 2026-27 tickets cost?
Australian BBL|16 ticket prices vary by club, venue, opponent and seating category. General admission is generally cheaper than reserved or premium seating.
Select a match on the official Big Bash ticket portal to see available prices in Australian dollars. Ticketek or Ticketmaster handles bookings depending on the venue.
Chennai opener tickets are priced separately in Indian rupees, starting from ₹1,500.
When does BBL early-bird pricing end?
BBL|16 early-bird offers are scheduled to end on 5 November 2026, subject to each club’s conditions and available allocations.
Discounts vary between teams and matches. Some fixtures, including Sydney Sixers vs Sydney Thunder on 15 January, are excluded from selected early-bird promotions.
Check the final ticket price and booking fees before payment.
When will BBL|16 finals tickets go on sale?
BBL|16 finals tickets will be released after the regular season, once the qualifying teams and host venues are known. Tickets may become available earlier if the remaining results can no longer change the final ladder positions.
The finals are scheduled for:
- Qualifier: 19 January 2027
- Knockout: 20 January 2027
- Challenger: 23 January 2027
- Final: 26 January 2027
Finals venues, teams and ticket links remain unconfirmed. Check the BBL 2026-27 schedule for updated match details.
Can BBL tickets be bought at the stadium?
Australian BBL matches may offer stadium ticket sales when seats remain available. However, online booking is recommended because popular matches and seating categories can sell out.
Chennai opener tickets are sold online through District by Zomato. Fans should book through the official platform rather than expecting tickets at stadium counters.
How are Big Bash tickets delivered?
Ticketek and Ticketmaster issue BBL tickets as mobile tickets or print-at-home tickets. Mobile tickets can be shared with other people included in the booking.
Open or download the ticket before arriving at the venue, particularly if mobile reception may be busy near the gates.
Accessible seating and ticket support
Accessible bookings include wheelchair positions and seating with easier access, fewer stairs or additional space.
- Ticketek accessible bookings: 1300 446 925
- Ticketmaster accessible bookings: 1300 665 915
The relevant ticket agent can confirm available seating for the selected venue.
Refunds, exchanges and ticket resale
Refunds or exchanges may apply when a match is cancelled, rescheduled, relocated or washed out under Cricket Australia’s refund policy. A change of personal plans does not automatically qualify for a refund.
Tickets may be resold at their original price through the authorised ticket agent. Selling BBL tickets above the original price can breach the ticket and entry conditions and may result in cancellation.
Are memberships better than individual tickets?
An individual ticket suits supporters attending one or two matches. A club membership may offer better value for supporters planning to attend several home games.
Membership benefits and included matches vary by club. A regular-season membership should not be assumed to include finals unless the membership terms specifically say so.
